A Unique Approach

Back Massage

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY

Trigger points are discrete, focal, hyperirritable spots located in a taut band of skeletal muscle. A sore point in your muscle fibres that can really irritate you and limit your range of motion and cause pain. Typically called a ‘knot’
Why do we release trigger points?
In short, to bring amazing relief for pain and tension in your muscles and to help improve your ability to move freely and without pain.
Does it hurt? Sometimes it can be uncomfortable. We work together and to your pain tolerances to ensure your experience is enjoyable and effective.

Back Massage

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE

After your muscles have been warmed up properly, deep and slow pressure is applied to problem areas to help muscles recover. Deep tissue massage is a technique that's mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries, however it is also used in every day massage to help speed up recovery and relax, the deep rhythmic movements help release muscle tension and enhance recovery from regular physical exercise. This can be used in conjunction with other alternative therapies. It takes into account the whole person and helps activate each patient’s natural healing processes as well as restoring their physical and emotional well-being.

Massage Therapy

MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE

The natural immune booster.

Manual lymphatic drainage not only helps your body stay healthy, it has also been proven to increase your focus, improve your quality of sleep and decrease swelling and fluid retention due to illness and injury.  Our lymph nodes are our body’s filtration system. They clear out the toxins and filter the good stuff, like vital nutrients, back into our systems so we can self heal.
Book in today and get your immune system working properly, improve your sleep and help your body get through the day with a little more spring in your step.

Zen Stones

HOT STONE REMEDIAL THERAPY

Hot Stone therapy is not just a luxury treatment, but extremely useful for relief from doms (delayed onset muscle soreness) after a heavy work out session or event, easing muscle pain, relieving headaches, soothing plantar fasciitis pain, easing anxiety and stimulating blood flow just to mention a few. It takes into account the whole person and helps activate each patient’s natural healing processes as well as restoring their physical and emotional well-being.

Back Massage

RELAXATION MASSAGE

A gentle full body massage combining relaxing elements of Swedish massage. All movements are slow, flowing and rhythmic, to bring your body to total relaxation. You’re guaranteed to leave feeling as though you’re floating and ready for a nap.

Leg Injury

MYOFASCIAL STRETCH SESSIONS

This one will push you gently to your stretching limits. Assisted stretch is stretching with the assistance of another person. Assisted stretching allows your body to move in ways that it is not able to when stretching alone. These sessions help you achieve greater range of motion, increase flexibility and help you get the most out of your body. PNF Stretches are vital to athletes looking to go the extra mile.

MYOFASCIAL CUPPING

Myofascial cupping is a soft tissue therapy that involves the application of decompressed cups on the skin, creating a vacuum effect that lifts up underlying tissues such as the fascia ( connective tissue ) and muscles, blood and other fluid, close to the surface of the skin. It helps break down fascia and gently stretch those tight muscles, increasing your range of motion using decompression. Painless and enjoyable, this modality is a must for anyone looking to be able to move more freely, relieve discomfort and get more out of their bodies.

Acupuncture

DRY NEEDLING THERAPY

Dry needling is used in conjunction with remedial massage, to Further assist in the treatment of trigger point release and to reduce pain and increase range of motion. It is a unique procedure intended to specifically target and restore muscle function, with an emphasis on improving tissue healing and restoring normal tissue function. This is important as continued activity with poor muscle function may lead to further tissue damage and increased pain. Dry needling is not meant to replace conventional medical procedures such as physiotherapy, remedial therapy or surgery. However, when combined with conventional treatment options, dry needling can be an influential method to accelerate pain reduction, healing and the restoration of normal tissue function.

Ice Blocks

ICE BATH SESSIONS

This is a modality that needs no introduction. It’s one of the most incredible treatment sessions you can gift yourself. Boost your immune system, find your centre and reclaim your power. I love showing my patients how just a few treatments can make an enormous difference to their health.
